With a background in art and studio jewelry, Sylvia’s years of experience in creative work has evolved into a passion for beads rich with patina that speak to culture and history. These beads are incorporated into the jewelry she creates.
Seeking a quieter, simpler way of life, Sylvia relocated to the desert of Coachella Valley in early 2026 where her love of artwear resurfaced. Drawn to fiber and textiles early on, Sylvia studied fiber arts at California College of Arts and Crafts, eventually migrating to studio jewelry and metalwork. Her diverse background contributes to her designs today.
Embracing a wabi sabi aesthetic at a young age, Sylvia seeks beauty in the imperfect. The handcrafted beads from around the world resonate with this aesthetic.
