This necklace is made with Ethiopian artisanal silver beads and recycled aqua glass beads produced by the Krobo tribe in Ghana West Africa.
The glass beads are environmentally friendly using glass from a variety of recycled sources including old beverage and medicine bottles. The method has been used for centuries and consists of a number of steps whereby powdered glass is poured into molds of clay and baked in a special oven.
